Our client is a fast-growing scale-up located with HQ in Copenhagen and with a truly international outlook, Revenue + dkk 100m and positive EBIDA.
They are operating an almost full value chain by designing, producing (outsourced manufacturing) and selling (e-commerce and B2B) their products them self. The organization counts 25 employees and the company is backed by international investors.

Our client holds a strong brand identity and is recognized internationally.

Our client is looking for an Interim Head of IT to build a new full IT setup to meet future international growth expectations. The interim Head of IT must quickly be analyzing and scoping the needs and specification before deciding on IT systems/platform. The interim Head of IT will also be responsible to build the implementation plan and start the implementation during Q4 2020.

Our client is expecting high growth within sales and e-commerce and need a stronger integrated IT setup in the full value chain.

Task:

  • Analyze and scope future integrated IT setup
  • Prepare vendor selection and drive selection process
  • Build implementation plan together with chosen vendor
  • Lead the implementation
  • Scope and implement new IT/Cyber security strategy
  • Develop and implement key IT policies

Integrated IT setup includes (but not limited)

  • E-commerce
  • ERP system
  • Business intelligence
  • Inventory management/Supply chain
  • CRM
  • Sales and Marketing automation

Currently IT systems in use

  • Google
  • Excel
  • WooCommerce
  • E-conomics
  • Zendesk

The ideal candidate

We are looking for an Interim Head of IT with experience from e-commerce and brand businesses who understand the value chain and cross-functional processes which the IT system needs to support.
You must have a high drive and be both structured as well as with a flexible mind-set required to work in a scale-up culture where things and decisions are moving very fast.

Also you must have stamina ensuring fast implementation which also means you are not afraid of doing a lot of the work yourself – and also having the ability to lift yourself up looking at the longer term requirements for the business.
