URGENT ASSIGNMENT

We are seeking an Interim Head of Quality Management for a leading Danish technology company, currently on a growth journey. The company is part of a global private equity-backed group and develops and manufactures advanced IoT solutions (mechanics, electronics, and software) for international markets.

The role is based within the company’s R&D and production environment, where there is an urgent need to strengthen and structure quality and testing processes ahead of the launch of two new product series early next year.

The Interim Head of Quality Management reports to the GM and will have 9 people reporting directly to him – test engineers, QA Manager and QA people.

Key responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for quality across sourcing, production, and QA systems
• Establish structure, direction and excecution within test activities: system verification, mechanical/environmental, and alpha field testing
  • Tight deadline must be met for testing and certification of products before 1/1-26
• Develop and implement a robust QA plan to support upcoming product launches
• Align and lead test team with hands-on appproche.
• Drive professionalization and development of a coherent test strategy – including test case design, coverage, and baseline testing
• Engage with internal stakeholders and colleagues and secure overall quality in development processes.
• Serve as a key quality partner to engineering, product management, and sourcing/production
• Optimize collaboration with external consultants and suppliers
• Ensure proper handling and follow-up of claims and continuous production quality assurance
• Contribute to the further development and maintenance of the company’s QMS

Candidate profile:

We are looking for a structured and hands-on quality leader with proven experience in quality and testing within product development – preferably within electromechanical, embedded software/systems. You have the ability to set a clear direction and ensure execution, while balancing strategic insight with operational involvement.
